Our story
From $200 to more than $1,500,000
Growing up in Latin America, we were instilled with a very specific view of money: work hard for others, save whatever you could, and avoid debt at all costs. Investing? It was a luxury reserved exclusively for the ultra-wealthy.
When we moved to the United States in our late teens, we quickly realized that the rules of the financial game were completely different. Everything operated on credit, and investing was accessible to anyone with an internet connection.
But there was a big problem: nobody explained how all of this worked in an understandable and applicable way, much less to the Hispanic community.
We had to overcome confusion, language barriers, and a lack of guidance. We made mistakes, we learned, and we adapted.
The result? After more than a decade of investing while working normal jobs with regular salaries, we managed to overcome the difficulties and build a net worth of over $1,000,000.
Today, we want to provide you with the exact guidance and tools that we wish we had when we started.
About the name
Endeuda2 is a paradigm shift
If you speak Spanish, the name Endeuda2 (Endebted) might surprise you. Why name our personal finance hub with something related to debt?
The biggest barrier to wealth is not just a lack of money, nor a lack of information, it is also a lack of perspective.
In our culture, debt generates fear. But in the modern financial system, debt can be a tool. Learning how credit works, how to leverage it, and why it is a crucial factor in every financial decision changes everything.
Whether you use debt or not, it is extremely important to improve your relationship with it, because debt (even if it isn't yours) plays an important role in your finances. Everything around you is influenced by it.
We took a word that symbolizes the shift in dynamics in our culture to grow financially in a system where everything is on credit, or put in its real form, debt.
